Markdown Studio

A minimal Markdown-to-PDF workspace with live preview.

The story behind it

We believe writing should be quiet and exporting should be effortless. A writer's tools should disappear — leaving only the words and the page.

Why we built it

01Problem

Markdown is the writer's best friend until it's time to export. Converters mangle formatting, editors force you into their workflow, and getting a clean, print-ready PDF usually means fighting a tool instead of finishing a document.

03The Creation

We built Markdown Studio as a split workspace: Markdown input on the left, live A4 preview on the right, styled for print from the start. Export is a single click, everything runs in the browser, and nothing you write ever leaves your device.

This creation began as #005 in our idea archive.

The creation journey
  1. Observation

Exporting Markdown meant fighting a tool.

    Formatting mangled, workflows imposed.

  2. Idea

Write left, watch a real page form right.

    Live A4 preview, one-click export.

  3. Creation

    A quiet writer's workspace.

Markdown in, clean PDF out — zero uploads.

  4. Release

    Shipped to the web.

    Live at markdown.100ideas.net.

What it does

01

Live A4 preview

Write on the left, watch the printed page form on the right.

02

One-click PDF export

A clean, typeset PDF the moment you're done.

03

Zero uploads

Everything runs locally in the browser — your writing stays yours.

Quick answers
Is it free?

Yes — free to use, with everything running locally in your browser.

Who is this for?

Writers, students and developers who want Markdown to become a clean PDF without a converter war.

How is it different?

Most converters are black boxes that mangle styling. Markdown Studio shows you the exact page as you write and exports it untouched — with zero uploads.

Gunpla Log

Track, organize and showcase your model kit builds.

Problem

Model kit builders juggle spreadsheets, photo folders and half-remembered shelf spots. The backlog grows, WIP photos scatter, and a collection that should feel like a showcase feels like chaos.

Idea

Gunpla Log

Creation

We built Gunpla Log as a builder's companion for iOS with a web landing: log every kit, track build progress, attach photos and organize the collection the way it deserves. It turns a spreadsheet chore into a showcase you actually want to open.

PostCraft

Format social posts and clean hashtags in one click.

Problem

Pasting a draft into a social app destroys the formatting — line breaks vanish, quotes turn into gibberish, and hashtags pile up into an unreadable wall. Creators waste minutes fixing what the platform should have kept.

Idea

PostCraft

Creation

We built PostCraft as a free web tool: paste your post, clean the formatting, tidy the hashtags, copy and go. No account, no uploads — the fix happens in the browser, in one click.
